Curved, rounded, tapered or twisted, the latest architectural
designs stretch more than the imagination: they are
stretching the properties of sheet metal and the innovative
talents of production engineers too. Undaunted, a Swedish
company has come up with a unique solution that has
opened up a whole new range of design possibilities, as
demonstrated by the complex shape of the Budapest arena
shown at left and below.
