BeckryTherm exterior: performance data
BeckryTherm exterior uses a range of high durability binders and organic/inorganic pigments selected to deliver the best balance of durability, stability and thermal control performance, while offering a wide palette of attractive roofing colours.
The following illustrations show that, as well as maintaining excellent mechanical performance, BeckryTherm substantially enhances the weathering performance of a highly durable topcoat system (BeckryTech 5000) through reducing the surface temperature of the paint.
BeckryTherm has excellent flexibility, gloss retention, abrasion resistance, hardness, ultraviolet, corrosion and chemical resistance.
Flexibility
BeckryTherm's flexibility is shown by these photos of bending tests to European Coil Coating Association (ECCA) T7 standards.

Gloss retention
This key factor of weathering performance has been measured in Florida over periods of 2, 3 and 5 years.
BeckryTherm's performance in Florida (in a BeckryTech 5000 binder system) shows excellent retention of gloss even after five years.
BeckryTherm weathering performance compared with standard pigmentation
Panels of the colours shown below were prepared using standard pigmentation ("Std.") or BeckryTherm pigmentation ("Reflective"). The binder was BeckryTech 5000.
The improved gloss retention of BeckryTherm (% at 60° head) is the result of the BeckryTherm pigmentation's reflective performance keeping the surface of the coating cooler, and so prolonging the lifetime of the coating.
